Juwel Roma 90L Fluval 305

How would one "collect" such an item? I haven't got a van only a car. If I could get my head around this issue I definitely would be interested in purchasing a 2nd hand tank in the future.

Great price though :good:

Edit: or due to location... receive a Delivery? Are there courier services which actually offer a delicate transport?

Bag up the fish, take the water level down as low as possible, bung the tank on the back seat with the filter, job done.

I doubt there would be courier services that would deliver a full fish tank with fish, and if there were I dread to think how much that would cost!

No risk of the glass fracturing with all the water sloshing around?

I guess there is some risk but that's up to the buyer.

Never trust anyone from Weston Super Mare, just put the tank up on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150446847146&_trkparms=tab%3DSelling

Ah well, If you were closer I would bend over backwards for that tank! However you're a good 4 hour+ drive just to get there. I don't think the fish would fair well!

On second glance you're only 3 hours away hmmm.... I wish

Are you going to sell the tank at whatever the final bid on eBay is? Or hold back on it? Currently its looking a little low.

Whatever price it goes for is what Im selling it at yes, thats why I set it at £0.01 starting price and no reserve :D I need to get rid off it!

Lol, its frustrating that it is such a good deal but the distance would cause concern for the fish! I don't know how bagging all the fish up and putting them in a fish box would fair, though this weather could keep them going for the 3/4 hours it would take me to get home and set it up.

I think the distance is more concerning for the fish than myself haha... no one sells any good setups near me.

Do it josh (then i'll buy the fluval filter from you... :p)

I do hope it goes for a good price, its a really good deal. The filter alone would sell for a big chunk of the price you were asking for on here...

Haha, Its a fantastic deal, the filter is a bonus to the tank though and means anyone would be able to transfer the entire tank to a larger one in the future with the same sized bacterial colony.

Just it sounds like would be very difficult to look out for the fishes wealth fare over such a long 3/4 hour journey + set up time.

Hi, sorry I'm not interested in buying the tank but thought I'd add something regarding transporting it.

We recently moved, and fit my 190L tank easily in the back of my VW Golf with the seats folded flat. I put the light unit on the top of the tank, and the fish and filter all bagged up and in polystyrene boxes beside it. We saved about 20% of the old tank water in water containers, and just topped up with fresh when we got there.

So, if we can do it with a 190L, you can definitely do it with a 90L. Oh and I would never transport a tank with any water in :good:
