Water Change Equipement

Emergeny Equipmet - I have a 20g in my shed incase of emergancys (Spare Heater, POwerhead, Light & always have salted RO on hand)

You need to add a Heater to your list
Grabbing Tongs
Gloves

what kind of tank are you doing? Any corals? If so you're going to want more lighting.

Are you keeping the Juwel internal filter? If so I would fill the media baskets with crushed LR or alfagrog, Rowaphos and carbon or a carbon sponge, DONT use all the sponges they come with as standard.

Apart from that sounds like you're on your way!

I think i might remove the filter and tbh im still not actually sure wether to get that one or the Aquastyle 980 because
IT looks better having curved edges
3 lights in the hood rather than 2
built in filter at the back so i can put different media init
only thing is its 215 litres rather than 240 and is slightly more expensive.

I'd bin the hydrometer and get a refractometer - in fact I did do!

Majority of hydrometers are very inconsistant whereas you can get a refractometer for £15-20 from thiefbay - much easier to use and more reliable in my experience. :good:
