One day i was bored thinking i needed some fish 
always had a thing for a big tank setup! Talking to the other half, her little sister had a spare 30L tank that i snapped up and filled with a few simple fish..
I got bored very easy as the tank was placed in the kitchen so one night the other half was in bed i decided to have a quick look on ebay/gumtree and found a MINT condition juwel rio 300 local for a good price
spoke to the other half was a mission as we had just moved into a new house and still had the bathroom to sort out ect! she finally said YES!!!
Few phone calls made and a trip to the bank, i went and collected the tank
Tank was home, i spend a good 4 to 5 hours cleaning the inside to make sure there was no dirt ect before i started filling her up.
Same night i collected the tank i made an order for a new filter, heater ect to replace the old items
Tetratec ex1200, external heater, tetratec 300 air pump and a few other items orderd for next day as i couldnt wait any longer!

Few months later i took a trip to a local tropical shop that had a VERY good name for itself as i wasnt touching the local acorn pet center ect!
So i picked up.. 5x angel fish, 2x lemon fin barbs, 1x unknown cat fish 1x 15cm plec, 1x silver shark.
I already had a small 5cm plec and 3x silver sharks in the 30L tank that i placed in the large tank but lost 2 sharks
Thats pretty much it for now, i did consider selling up and try a marine setup but decided to stick with tropical for now.
