I've got a juwel 70 litre tank set up as tropical at the moment.Im upgrading in August to a 240 ltre Marine but wanted to start now with the 70 litre. Can anyone help me with the following?.
1. Would there be any point doin it.
2. Would i need a skimmer or would i just need to do regular water changes.
3. About how much LR will i need.
4. Would the water be hard to keep in the correct parameters?
Thanks

Dude, It's been 15 minutes!

Personally, I'd wait till august, more time to research, more time to save up for unexpected costs ect.

And if your spending on this tank, this will furthermore reduce allowence on the bigger tank.

BUT, if you want to get an early start, and money isnt much of an issue, by all means go for it :good:

Sorry, I carn't help much but someone else will answer soon enough

Well you can use it, and the water quality will take some getting used to. If you do use the 70l, don't go too high-tech on things that won't transfer over to the new 240, that'd be a waste of time. But you could get your feet wet so to speak with the 70.

7 kilo's of LR and no skimmer required.

Ok thanks for the advice but i might still just save up alot of money for august (£800) some how lol
