would it be ok to put a rio 300 litre filter in a vision 260 litre tank,
is there any problems if you over filter your tank, i would change the heater to one suitable for the tank but what about the filtration and the power head

Dont think there is any problem overfiltering your tank, just keep in mind that the benificial bacteria will build up in both filters for the fish load you are keeping and if you remove one filter you are removing half the bacteria and back to a cycling situation with the other.
