Juwel Filter Powerheads

I've been given a juwel compact super (the smallest one) filter which came from the same size tank as i have (24x12x15) but the powerhead on it only does 250 litres/hour and the current filter i have (weipro tc700) does 700 litres/hour.

I know from another juwel tank i have that the filters are very good because when i use the gravel vac there's no poo at all which is why i wanted to upgrade.

Does anyone know if the powerheads on the juwel ones are less powerful for a reason and if the juwel one would be better than my weipro one?

In my opinion you would be better sticking to the one you have as the juwels are rubbish.

oh, the only reason i thought it was good is coz there's never any poo in the gravel when we vacuum it in our piranha tank so i assumed it must all be in the filter!
