Also it has suction cups on the back but they keep popping off the glass. Anyway I can stick in on there better ?

The only part to be above the water is the top end of the plastic tube. If it's a new filter, you could contact the seller for the suction cups, otherwise contact Juwel.

That's why I like Eheim internals, suction cups for those can be bought separately. If you google Juwel suction cups you'll find a few shops selling replacements.
