Juvenile Firemouth Pictures

Here are some pics of the juvenile Firemouths I picked up Jan. 2 for my 29g. Please excuse the mediocre quality of the photos, not the best digi camera.

Their coloration looks better in person, and the red faded on their bellies a bit from being scared while I was taking the pics.

great looking fish there benneb! love the firemouths. were some of the first ones that i started with. looks like you could possibly have a male there in the last one. the fin is longer and pointier. nice color even though you think they were faded.

Thanks, Semper. I was able to get a good measurement of the largest Firemouth, he's just over 2 1/2 inches, including the caudal fin.

Man...how did you get a digital camera to take such good pictures? Mine is horrible and every time I take a picture of something moving, even if its ever so slightly, it comes out REALLY blurry. Maybe its just my camera?

Lol, I thought I had a pretty bad digital camera. I usually take up to 20 pictures so I know that atleast some will turn out. The digi camera I've got is an Olympus D-380 2 mega-pixel camera.
