That definitely beats the full-sized taco ornament at Petco. Hardshell corn tortilla and all the toppings (sans sour cream).
They’re not messing around when it comes to what makes fish feel at home in a tank.

What got me back into fish keeping is my youngest daughter's interest. Because she's a 10 year old kid, I let her pick out some rather cringe-worthy decorations and lo and behold a clown loach got stuck in one. I know it happens but... why, oh why do companies producing this stuff have such disregard for the interior smoothness and complicated bends etc?

After much gentle shaking and poking and stressing the hell out of the little guy, he's free and the little castle thingy is in the recycling bin.

My daughter has a castle. It sits next to the tank.
Our chain store sells a 'Lovefish' brand for everything from medicines to tanks. Her baby betta got sucked in to the Lovefish filter. We found it and got it out before it died from being out of water but soon after paralysis set in. What was just as upsetting was when I researched this filter, complaints of the same thing happening and killing fish went back 7 years and the company is still selling them.

One of my BN females got into a sticky situation with an ornament last year. Her own fault, she stuck her snout where her snout did not fit

All I heard was this frantic tapping noise from the aquarium, looked across and there she was tail in the ait and wagging her tail to rock the ornament back and forth to let me know she was in a bit of trouble. Had to pull the ornament, then pull her by the tail out of said ornament. She was fine, no real damage physically but she did hide away for a few days out of probable embarrassment at being bottom up stuck.
