Hello!
I just moved to New York City and set up my 29 US GAL aquarium, and I'm happy to say that everything is going well. I have four three-spot gouramis (one male, three females, if I sexed them correctly) and I can't believe how well they are doing.
Before this, in my old place, I had six bala sharks, three moonlight gouramis, and a pleco in my 29 GAL, and I had a 10 GAL with swordtails and panda cory cats (my favorite fish). Right now my 10 GAL is on reserve in case I need a quarantine or I have any fry.
I just wanted to thank the people on this forum, as the advice given here has been invaluable in setting up my latest tank. I did fishless cycling on this latest tank, got the right ratio of gouramis (I think) and everything is going beautifully. I hope I can contribute what little I know to anyone who needs my help.
Okay, I think that's enough of an introduction, but I will leave you with a picture of my four gouramis:
