just start cylying

i just start a cyle with to swordtails in a 10 gallon tank that will become my breeding tank. how long will it take to cyle?

probably 4 weeks?

You could speed up the 4 weeks by adding some gravel or filter medium from a cycled tank. I take a breeder box and fill it with gravel from another tank and set it in the new tank, helps alot to speed it up.

If you dont have an existing tank, you may be able to get some gravel from your local fish store. Good luck, Sandy

Sorry dont know where that is. I have heard of Lake Charles, but could not find it if my life depended on it. I have only been here a few years, and am still learning where everything is. I know where New Orleans is and the area around me, but after that i get lost. I also know where the Mississippi river is as that is where reggie works, he is a tug boat captain. Sandy
