Only just started getting into the fish world, and have started a small tank :

24" x 12" x 12

Anyone know how many gallons this would be roughly?

And also whats my list of fish like?

5 Neons
1 Angel
1 Clown Loach
2 Tiger Bard
1 Plec
1 Red Finned Shark
1 Glass Cat
2 Gourami
And 4 other small fish, not sure what they are.

And thats about it .

adz, enjoy the forum. there is a gallon calculator around here somewhere. as far as fish go your tank is overstocked. You may want to get asecond one to house some of the larger ones.

As Tanked says that would be way too many fish for a 20 gal tank, not to mention that the smaller neons will become food for the shark, the Tiger Barbs will probably nip the fins off the angel and the gourammis

The tank has been running a good month or two now, and all the fish seem to get on well. And i have just bought a bigger tank and also a smaller one, so i might start splitting the fish up soon.

In the medium tank im hoping to get a Brazillian puffer {think thats what it is called}

The smaller tank i will proberally stick the Neons, and the barbs, and in the biggest tank i will keep the plec and the shark, thats about it for now.

Edited to Add : What are the disadvantages of having too many fish in one tank?
