Lol froggy style Mine mate all the time. I dont think it should be a poblem unless they start taking turns The female is actually in control as she will swin around with the male on her back and when she is done she will stop and then the male knows no more nookie for him. Nice tank BTW.

thankyou sooo much for the food bowl idea! Your right, once they learn where the food is, its MUCH easier to feed them! I have used a pop bottle cap (washed, sanded the rough edges off) for my food bowl, and they seem to love it. both of mine literally get in with the food and have a roll around for a while!

Yeah, I've been using the lid to one of my daughters bowls. It's just a plastic lid. I had to put a rock on it to weigh it down. It was funny when I first put it in because one of the boys smelt the food and thought the rock was it... so he was like pounding his face into the side of the rock (which is more like a large pebble...)

And yeah, the dish is the best idea as far as feeding them that I've found.


Well, I guess I'll just leave the girl in for now. I'm happy having all the frogs in one tank anyway. And thanks for the complement on the tank Drew. I'm quite pleased with it.

One of the boys got stuck in the plant and couldn't get up for air last night. He died.



If I get any help with the sand issue (as in what kind to get) I'll be getting sand for the others tonight, and maybe some different plants. We'll see.

argos play sand £2.50 for 15kg.
perfect, i use it and it works well. other then that, go for any nice aquarium sand you see in stores just make sure its not one thats for marine, or affects PH.
sorry to hear the loss of your frog. maybe think about getting live plants as they are not only better for the water, but harder to get stuck in as they are more flexiable then fake plants.

I hate live plants... so I'll just try and find some that aren't so compact at the bottom.

And we don't have any non-marine sand around here. So I guess I'll be waiting for a while to do the sand.
