Just Seen Dutch Rams

Hi

I have just seen some really nice dutch rams.. the guy at the LFS says they would go nicely in my tank but I am learning to come away and do my homework

200 L tank with xp2 filter
Ph 7.5 - the local water is quite hard water
well cycled
temperature about 75
moderately well planted
sand substrate

I currently have

5 gold danios
2 neon gouramis
2 thick lipped gouramis
4 diamond head neon tetras
4 cories
1 x 2" goby

All is peaceful at the mo' and I want to keep it that way! - I understand the rams would probably find themselves a territory but would they be aggressive?

Are you talking about German rams? Is this group wild caught or captive bred?

researching since I asked the question I *believe* they are the same...

The guy in the LFS said they were bred in the Chechz (sp) republic

Bought a pair (I hope its a pair !) yesterday - they are such cool and peaceful little fish.

Cool, rams are such nice fish. I'm guessing they confused dutch with deutsch (German), instead of just German Rams. You'll have to post some pictures. The Czech Republic always has such nice breeds.

Sorry this took me longer than I thought it would but meet Shaun... (named by the kids after Shaun the Sheep - Ram -get it? )

Certainly my favourite fish at the moment.
