Just Planned The Build Of A 1100 Uk Gallon Aquarium

As the title says ive just provisionally agreed to having a 144" x 72" x 30" (lxwxh) 1136g aquarium, what im after now is YOUR idea's on what you would stock it with, i already have my own idea's but i would like to see how other people would fill it!

Also after idea's on filtering and heating such an auarium, as i havnt got them bits 100% fine tuned yet.

yeah, id have tonnes of small schooling fish, as well as some pictus cats, some plecos and some larger gouramis

I would get some clown loach and a black ghost knife fish in there, make it a planted tank.
I only have a 4ft but i have made it like a malwi set up with rocks piled up but still added lots of plants and it really looks good. I think it is better to not see all the fish swimming around all the time (in my opinion) and to see what they are doing in the caves when they dig out the sand and blow it out their mouths looks really good.

Nice suggestions so far, the fish i have so far to go in, are a massive pair of 8" firemouth cichlids, the rest is being based around thse as they are my favourite fish, thinking of goin for some acara's, maybe some oscars, tinfoil barbs, want to go with a sand substrate, with lots of caves etc in there.

if anybody else has any idea's that would be great, the build will be started in the new year hopefully so i want to get everythin in place.

jesh, with a tank that size you could get anything

me personally, either find out about plants,and all the bussiness to get a great planted tank and have a group large of channa pleurophthalma.........species tank......
