Hi all,
On returning from work today I discovered that I had lost two of the above platys. All my water levels are fine and the fish had been healthy and active up until this morning when I last checked on them. One of the platys was upside down on the bottom of the tank and the other had been ripped to shreds so that the only remaining visible sign was its ribs/spine (or the fish equivalent, not up on my fish physiology).
In the tank with them are:
6 congo tetra
4 cardinal tetra
5 guppies
2 blue gourami
2 hoplo catfish
1 common plec.
None of the fish in the tank have shown any signs illness be it whitespot, fin rot, lack of weight or bent spines etc.
Any ideas what could have happened?
Cheers
Chris
