Lovely tank you've got there. Clown loaches are my favourites.

Thank you all! & thanks sirminion for cleaning up the picture, that's much better! The tank is 55 gal, I have 7 clown loaches, 4 corys (2 albino 2 spotted), 4 kuhli loaches, 2 golden cae's, 1 cherry barb who are permanent residents. Also 2 bala sharks (these came from a pet store's "return tank", they were housed in a tank with oscars among others) they were beaten up pretty badly so I brought them home and plan on finding them a bigger home soon. There are also 2 bumblee gobies (which I just got last weekend because they were so adorable), after reading some stuff here I know I will need to find them a new home also!

Nice tank and fish. Also good to hear you have done your reasearch and are going to get a bigger tank, this is where MTS sets in :S

yes MTS... so sad :hey: If I do choose to keep the balas that means I will need at least a 75 gal... oh darn... :D I would like to get some tips on planted tanks... I will read the other threads. I am totally clueless as to what I even need to begin... Maybe cichlids which I've never attempted anything other than this tank which I've had for about 3 years now, so yes, it is time :hyper: ... the possibilities are endless...

if you keep those clowns you will need atleast a 75 gallon too, in a while though, nice looking tank though

Muha ha ha ha!!! Planted tanks!!! :shifty: :hey:  They're lots of fun!!
Anyways....
Beautiful tank! I like the slate on the bottom. I would reccommend filling that blank space, but it's fine the way it is too. :) I love the clown loaches!! My favorite.
Lovely tank! :D

Thanks again all! and you read my mind, I do plan on getting more of the slate to fill the empty space along with some more large river rocks! Maybe this weekend, I guess I can investigate tank prices also! & yes I do know when the loaches get bigger I will have to make accomodations for them, I have had most of them for 2+ years and the longest is about 5 1/2", but he's the exception... the others are all less than 3" so for now I think I'm safe, the bala's on the other hand are growing like little fishy weed  s....
