Just wanted to stop in and say hello. I found this site through another forum, fish lore, but no one except 1 person was responding to my post and he recommended trying this one.
I have a 20 gallon tank with 6 Neons, 2 Otos, 1 Pandy Cory and 1 Cherry Red Shrimp. I've had my Neons for 1 week tomorrow. I had 7 more Neons and a Bumble Bee Shrimp previously, but those have all died of something. In all I had Neons for a total of 2 weeks. Water perimeters have been fine. I just checked yesterday and Ph is 6.6 - 6.8, Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, and temp is about 79 to 80 degrees F. I've been gradually trying to raise it to between 80-82F. I think they may have had Ich. I was treating with ParaGuard but then switched to Nox-Ich.
I may post more about it in the disease section (if there is one) or the Neon section since this is for intros only, but I thought I'd let everyone know what I had. At this point I think I'm done seeking advice since I've lost so many now, I don't think there's anything more I can do.
Oh I'm also from Columbus, OH. I have another tank, a 55 gallon with 1 African Cichlid and some other type of Corydora, who's just as big as the Cichlid.
