Do you think it would be ok if when some of my ornaments in my goldfish tank got quite a bit of algae on it


It would be ok to pop it in my tropical tank so my algae eaters could give it a clean?

Or is that a dumb idea?

Not a dumb idea - but you could transfer disease

.....it'd be easier to clean it - and I'm sure your algae eaters aren't going hungry

For the sake of a bit of elbow grease not worth the risk.....I would just clean it....

since having them in my tropical tank my algae probs have been reduced alot

sucking cats, I got them they were great, you can get normal sucking cats. But I prefer the gold ones.
