Right now it's stocked with 3 ottos, 1 betta, 1 apple snail and 6 penguin tetras which will be moving to my roomate's 29 gallon once it's fully cycled.

That would be nice, but would the 2 dwarf puffers be able to live with other fish as well, cause i thought that they can only be put in a species tank much like some africans......

That's an African dwarf butterfly cichlid , once also known as pelmatochromas thomasi , I don't know the most recent scientific name .

The penguin tetras are moving into my roomate's 29 gal. and the betta will go in my 1.5 gal kritter keeper... I'm sure the ottos can stay.

Yeah I said two DPs or a pair of rams and the other stuff. You're right, DPs should be kept in a species tank.
