Just Fragged My Zoa!

I have a large Zoa colony of Dragon Eye and since Fishy and Weez want some, i thought i'd be nice and give it a go!!

Its hard to say but i think it went well. I didn't use gloves and realised half way through!! soo here's hoping i dont die!! I'm sure i'll be fine - i handle them loads and never got poisoned!! YET!

I basically used a stanley knife and pried the zoas off the rock colony. Superglued them to a new rock then put them both in! Looking forward to seeing if it works! Zoa's grow quickly right? Cos i only did 6 polyps on a massive rock piece of live rock!! hehe

Yes zoas grow quickly I was told my 15 head frag will get 2 new heads each week

I should have some other frags arriving any day so once they grow I will get some fragged for you!

Ive actually heard that smaller colonies of around 10 heads have an average of 1 head a month

i only fragged 6! oops! it was actually quite hard to lift them!

Im sure it will be grow nicely! The frags I have on plugs only have 3 heads! Gonna take me a while
