Just Came Home With 3 Oto's

came home from lfs with 3 good sized oto's. i know they love algae and have them in quarentine with a piece of bogwood covered in green algae so as soon as they find it they should be in oto heaven. the q/tank also contains 16 cardinal tetras that are growing up to be put in with my discus and have been there a month or so now so i know they are safe
what else will oto's eat? veg, algae wafers...?
also i have the intentions of adding them into my discus/com tank as soon as i know they are ok to try and rid my plants of algae and generally keep things looking nicer.
is 3 a good number or do i need a few more?
throw any advice you will at me as these fish are new to me!

i also know the risk with adding them with discus but im going to try it and keep a close eye on them

hi, i feed mine algae wafers and veg. they love peas, cucumber and courgette. (blanched)

just do the blanched cucumber with them mate ive read about them and am considering oto's if you dont know how to blanche ill show you on thursday

just put some peas in so ill see what happens

if no joy ill try cucumber next
