been looking around a few fish shops lately, but the ones i had been too didnt have any kuhli's :( i still want them and ever since i discovered them i wanted them! the only time i seen some (well i didnt really see them) was a small tank in a pets at home store which i was amazed about when i seen the label above the tank saying KUHLI LOACH my face was glued to the glass but i think it was empty, or they were hiding very well, so i got a bit desperate and now i have ordered some online, lets hope they arrive alive and are healthy :) cant wait :D

Make sure they have plenty of places to hide, terracotta saucers with doors cut into them work well (I have one of those currently).

Yea lots of hiding places. The postage will stress them out a fair bit. You may not see them much for awhile.

Yay! More kuhlis rescued to go to good homes!
The more hiding spots the merrier. Add more hiding spots until the tank is near bursting! :p

they are fascinating to watch, you wont regret getting some, how many did you order? everything crossed they arrive safely

I love Khuli loaches too! It's a shame my tank is too small :(.

dont worry there is plenty of nice big pieces of wood and rocks, and the tank is stuffed with plants :) lots of floating plants too to make them feel secure :) i think im okay for hiding places :)

-phoenixgsd, i know i know, i've been through almost all the kuhli video's on youtube and thought they were fascinating, cant wait till i have mine tomorrow and see them in real life :D im sure i can sort them out so that they arent too timid or too shy and wont mind showing themselves, but in a way i think part of the fascination and greatness of these fish is that if they hide a lot when they do come out it feels more amazing and special to see :D

im considering getting these are they easy to keep or have special requirements

They need a sand substrate to sift through, they don't like bright lights, they need groups of +6, they need a lot of hiding spots, they don't like aquarium salt, they're sensitive to most medicines, and they are the best fish ever :)
