Just Bought Banjo Catfish...

The bugger cost me £20, but then again the pet shop had him down as an eel catfish :{P

But I had to have him his markings are great. He looks healthy, not moving at all yet (still daylight).

He is is with bob the bumblebee cat, as some (I hope) impossible to eat company. (he is abot 3 inches long, 1.2 inches wide).

I just got one of these guys myself. A very little one. Maybe 1.75-2" long. The LFS is going out of business so everything was on sale cheap, including the fish. $2 (was $6 last week) and this guy was almost impossible to see unless you have a keen eye for spotting hiding fish in crowded tanks. I knew he was in there and still only barely noticed him from the tail sticking out from underneath a ghost knife tube. He's in my 10 with some Kuhlis until I can see how much I can get him back into shape. I've got a 55g for him to move into once he's gained some meat and regained his strength. The poor little guy was in a 20g tank with about 30 other fish and looks half-starved.
