I decided against the triangle one because it's basically the same size as the one i've got. This one's 4 times as big and takes up roughtly the same space, so I thought bonus!

Everything in my bottom sig is going in it

No personally, I don't think it will matter about being 10 years.
My bowfront tank was made in the late 1970's and has only been
resealed once, in the mid 80's.

BTW I turned sigs back on

Interesting tank, cheap too! Though I am guessing you already know that it is potentially overstocked? Looks good though. Does it come with a lid, or will you need to get one made?

I thought that was even thinking of getting a few more fish! Maybee get a few more tetras or something? Maybe another BN

I will probably build a lid, to enable quite a bit of lighting as it's gonna be a planted tank

You couldn't put silver sharks, silver dollars or perhaps even clown loaches in it. It only has tyhe surface area of a 4ft tank and has no where near the room for bala/silver sharks and aplec and clown loaches would be pushing it too much IMO.

I have a 2ft cube tank that I got for £40 (included lid, lights, filter, heater and decor). Did you get a hood with it as it's realy hard to get one, a stand too. I had to buy 2 made to order 2ft metal stands for mine.

Depending on these things it might not be such a good buy (IMO) but definatley a nice tank.

and silver dollars need to be kept in a group of at least 3-4, characins for ya and how many gallons is that tank, it looks nice?

My 2ft cube is 50UK/60US gallons. Not sure abotut the volume of the one Barday bought but I presume it's the same.

Personally since it is 10 years old get some sealent and put a super thin layer on the seems. THat what I would do
