I really want another tank to use simply for corys because I find them so awesome!

However, all the tanks I see are SO expensive! Would it be possible to use something like....a kiddie pool with a filter and a heater for a cory tank? It was just a thought I had floating around in my head!

You could try asking your local shop about Clearseal tanks.

They are very good tanks and a good price.

Look into used tanks, large Rubbermaid tubs work well for keeping fish.

+1 Most of my tanks are second hand, even got a 70g tank for free. Worth a looksee!

ebay is the best bet like i got 3 full set ups on there for less then £70.00 2 x 2nhalf ft and 1x 2ft

The problem with all the secondhand tanks is that they're pick up only and they're all so far away! I really want a 55 gallon but I don't see it happening in the near future!

just keep looking, try gumtree, preloved etc too, i got a 30gal, 15gal & a 10 gal for £50 with all the equipment
