ive never had an marine aquarium before but i was wondering could you keep jelly fish they are really cool looking and if any one has ide like some basic info if u wouldent mind

Sometimes you will be lucky/unlucky enough to have young ones arrive in on new liverock but its very rare.

They are not easy to keep because powerheads will simply suck them up and rip them apart. Marine tanks need huge amounts of flow and this can only be created with powerheads. Jelly fish are ok in the ocean but not suited for marine tanks unfortunately.

Yes they are very fragile.

They aer typically housed in round tanks to reduce trauma, and require some skilled plumbing work.

I looked into them a couple years ago after seeing a display of them in Corpus Cristi.

Yeah, requires a custom made tank to properly keep them. The tanks I've seen for jellyfish usually have a round front and some type of "s" shaped weir so that water comes under it, up the front of the tank to make a swirl, and empties over the top into an area with the pump. Hold on and I'll find the article that talked about these fragile species.
