Just a few questions for all you breeders

Is blood worm good for conditioning? and how often to feed, twice a day or more? for 2 weeks right?

Anyone use 'fairy shrimp' as fry food before? is it any good? i read its slightly smaller than BBS so good for even the smallest fry

Or i'll just get BBS :good:

Thanks all, i am very excited about trying breeding, got a decent number of jars already :good:

neither had i!, was browsing ebay at bettas and they came up as good fry food so thought i'd ask

so they work then? they seem easier to setup providing the discription is right, they just need freshwater

hi, to condition use a couple of meaty foods, bloodworm is perfect. also try bs or daphnia. also feed a good pellet food.

never used fairy shrimp before but have heard of it.look up banana worms, theres someone on aquarist-classifieds who sells them.

Think the fairy shrimp is more for the babies than conditioning the adults. :good:

We use bloodworm and betta pro for ours. We normally feed them 3 times a day and give them as much as they want. For the babies we feed vinegar eels for the first week and then move them onto freshly hatched baby brine shrimp.

Good luck with it all :good:
