Voted for roamer, they're all very cute but I voted for the same one I nominated. I mean how many times have you seen a picture of a cat quite like this one?? I think it's great, if not a little scary!

I voted for Angry Platy's Mac as I am partial to dogs. It appears we have a lot of cat people on here though as the top 3 vote getters are all cats. I really like Eeyore too though.

Well to be honest - for me it most certainly *NOT* about the animal, but the actual picture I'm voting on.
As OrkyBetta once said: All the animlas are winners anyway. Therefore it has to be the picture we are voting on.

Just curious... are the photos getting voted on according to picture quality, or according to how "cute" they are. It seems as if pets win according to what they are doing in the picture... rather than the actual pet itself or the quality of the photograph.

I vote on a combination - picture quality - the moment caught (such as a good action shot or unusual pose) - and the endearing quality. The only thing I do not take into consideration (or try not to) is the "type" of animal. So even if I don't like snakes (which I don't because I just don't) and I see an amazing picture of a snake, I might very well vote for it - above a pic of a cute-ish kitten but bad picture quality and "just sitting there" - because it's cute and fluffy.

But I guess at the end of the day it's up to every individual to have their own criteria on which they judge and then cast their vote....

I just thought this one was adorbale. The kitty (love the coloring), the stance, the capture, the quality..all were superb. Right on!

That's pretty much how I vote as well. I vote on the photo, not the pet type that I like best. Though the topic title always says "vote for your favorite pet" I think of it more as voting for your favorite picture, after all you can have two pictures in the contest of the same pet from what I understand.

I have a personal policy of never saying who I vote for on contests. I don't mind if other people do at all, I just personally don't like saying. I guess I worry about making anyone feel bad .
