Jumping Pleccy

This may sound odd, but my pleccy has taken to darting up to the top of the tank really fast, breaking the surface and then darting back down again... is this normal?

yep - but if its doing it quite regularly - you may have an oxygen problem (lack of it)

Yes, it's pretty regular. Thanks for the advice - I'll buy some of those oxygen tablets for my tank.

point the filter outlet at the surface - you need a permanent fix for oxygen levels... if that dosnt help - get another filter or and air pump with bubbler.

Mine also do this a lot at dinnertime, they suck in some air to help them float in weird positions while they eat.
