just wanted to know if my 3 corydoras julii catfish will eat the algea in my 120L tank or should i buy 2 bulldog plecos to eat the algea.

Corys DONT eat algae, well at least unmeasurable levels of it. I am always confused why people seem to think they do.

For 120L tank ONE bulldog plec or ONE bristlenose plec is plenty, I wouldn't go for 2, as plecs produce a lot of waste, and quite basically you don't NEED 2.

I think he meant eat, and they don't. They'll nibble on it if there's enough and they're hungry but they're far from a algae eater.

If I drop an algae wafer in the tank, all my cories will eat on it until its gone...

They arent just algae in those tablets, and are alot more concentrated flavour than natural algae, so most fish will eat them regardless of whether they usually eat algae or not.

Besides, cories don't have the sucking and scraping mouth of an algae eater anyways.
