Hello! I just finished building my greenhouse and would like to put some cold-tolerant fish in the water used as a heat mass. Some fish there really catch my eye, and I'm wondering how much it usually costs to ship from there?

I’ve checked and it’s expensive as are all online fish retailers . Expect to pay anywhere from $30 to $50 bucks shipping depending on how many fish you buy and where you are geographically from Jonah .

Find another aquarist in your area who wants more fish and split the shipping cost.
Contact an aquarium club or society in your area and see if any members are breeding the species you desire.
Find a mom and pop pet shop and have them order the fish for you.

alright, sounds good. usually shipping here is a lot so it's more of a last option (east coast to far west coast here in cali)

yeah, I will definitely contact my lfs! they have a fish request which I'll try to do again
or I'll wait until i have set up more tanks so I order more fish, and the shipping isn't as big of a fraction of the whole order.
