jewel rekord 70 fish tank

not exactly a problem with the fish yet but the temp is very high 80.2f

does anyone know how to turn the thermo down is it clockwise or anti(counter)-clockwise i cant find my booklet and i know this is getting to high for my fish

any ideas on how i can get the temp down quickly without causing to many problems as ive had enough of them lately see other post

On juwel tanks it's usually anti clockwise, i hate juwel heaters as you have to mess with the heater till you find the correct temp.

80 isnt really too hot for fish, my heater is turned all the way down and my tank is at 80... i like it there, so do the fish, just there matabolism is a lil faster

http/www.juwel-aquarium.de/uk/index.html go to rekord 70 and download the instructions manual you need pdf (adobe acrobat) to read it but then you will never loose it again. Also 80f is just right for your fish mine is at 82f and they love it.

yep...mine is also anti-clockwise for down. My one has a '+' and a '-' sign on the top next to the knob (the sign is also black though, moulded in, so may be hard to see).
