Jewel Eggs

Have a nice batch of eggs only 3 days after putting the two together, my other pair have been together a month and no joy. Love raising fish what ever the species.

The new pair have now moved the wrigglers to the side of the cone. Looking good so far as it's their first batch.

Well the fish have turned out to be great parents. They are taking turns to keep the fry in a shoal while the other gathers up the strays and brings them back in their mouth and spits them back. Great as this is their first batch.

Very nice! I have found Jewels to be excellent parents. My breeding pair turned ruby red when they bred - they were gorgeous!

Thanks, I know they are easy to breed but just love raising fish. Will get some more photos when they get bigger.

I love jewels but they are nasty fish lol
