Hi everyone. I didnt know you existed. Anyway, I am in the U.K. and live in London. I am looking for all sorts of things but I have posted all my questions in another fourm. Whew. :grr: Its at Urban Aquatics [Mod Edit] and they're holding competitions an stuff too with monthly prizes so in I go and post all my stuff but it's very new. :( and Im scared I'l never get my seahorses! :p which I l would love to have.
I'll try and repost in here too now that I know where both you are but I'll wait as that was hard work for me.
Ah, yes. I ride horses, go swimming, love the internet for Botany and generally live life too fast.
Glad to have found you. Now I have 2 nice forums/sites to look at. Yahooooo!

Hello Jennifer and welcome to the forum.
May I remind you of our rule number 4 which can be found in general rules, by placing your cursor over the words and clicking.
It does state that you are not permitted to promote other sites within this forum.
I am delighted that you have decided to join, and I hope you will enjoy your stay here.

:hi: to the forum.

IMO, this forum's better than others, but I haven't been to any that are as well developed or with a comparable number of members.

I hope you get answers.

In the meantime, join our school.

8) Hi. Nice to see you. Well. Just popped in to see any replies and there are. :D

I got some email back from the other site from the developers and they've got alot of things there but I was suprised they are asking for other forums to list themselves in that one. He siad "We are trying to tie in all good resources together and are about to spend some hefty sums on priority search engine listing to keep first. We're not into this competing nonesense and 'We're better than you' nonesense, we want to see properly handled care and info for people to look after Fish and animals!" He said if people stopped competing and worked together he said fewer fish and animals would suffer. !!!

Which is why I went in there for my seahorses. Do you have a warehouse too, so I can come and look at to buy some creatures??? :D I would love that.
Catch you peple later. This has been a cool day.

Apparently you didn't read the post before mine.
That's blatant advertising, though you might not mean it that way.

And there's no warehouse here. We're all private fish owners and caretakers who trade in the Buy, Sell, and Swap section of this forum (if we have to give some fish away).

Well, I just want some seahorses and I dont know what to do to begin with and Im not a saleswoman either but looking about on the web there's some crappy forums which are full of banners which I think is disgusting and boring as hell. :D :hyper: & I hate them.

So I cam in here.

& if I can't buy some seahorses Ill have to win them. :fun: :fun:
Jenny.
(Dont know much about seahorses but I wanna learn. I think theyre crazy lil things.)

Hmm. Thats not politre or nice at all. I missed this just now. Well they said they are there to help others help creatures and you're saying you want it all for yourselves and we're not allowed to talk about certain stuff and Im in the middle wondering what Ive found now.
No free speech for me then   and I don't even care for this advertising web crap anyway and this post has spoiled things. It 's like you want people to find you and then not tell them about other good things on the web like you own them or something? And what about fish food manufacturers and stuff and good places to get stuff. Thats advertising. I mean you have to say somethings sometimes that relate to other great places to help others.
I'm afraid Im not into this compettive stuff and I dont wanna be owned either and I wanna tell everyone about fun stuff not be forced hushed up. Thats not very nice of you at all. & youre schooling sounded like a wonderful idea too.

Seahorses are very far from the easiest things to keep, they are very fussy feeders. Ask on the Marine Board, see if anyone there has any experience with them.

The rules are there for a good reason :) Unlike you, some people only come to post about their own forums, or one they are associated with. We then end up with lots of posts with zero information but plenty of advertising, and its gets tiresome to pick out the good info from the blatant advertising!

Unfortunately, people like that spoil things for people like you, so for the moment anyway, the rules must be kept as a condition of membership :)

Happy posting

Ken

Hi there and welcome! I'm glad you are getting information all over the web. Most of us use several sites for information gathering etc. Enjoy TFF :D

By choosing farm-raised sea horses, not only are you getting a superior pet free of parasites and pathogens typical to wild caught sea horses, but you are making an eco-friendly choice because your purchase helps to protect the wild populations and their marine habitats.

Many seahorse experts, such as Pete Giwojna, highly recommend Ocean Rider Giant Tropical Farm-Raised Sea Horses in Hawaii. They are so well adapted to the aquarium environment that they feed-ezy on frozen mysis shrimp enhanced with Ocean Rider Vibrance®! This diet will ensure long term survivability, high health, high mating frequency and beautiful, vibrant colors!!! Forget about live food!!!
