I have a Jebo CF fixture that uses 2 x 55 watt "straight pin" bulbs. I bought it used, and their (Jebo's) website isn't very helpful.

Does anyone know if it will work with only 1 bulb in it?

I'm about to order some stuff from Fosters&Smith, and I'm debating ordering a single 6700K bulb, but don't want to go through the hassle of returning it.

Thanks.

I have a coralife fixture that uses the same bulbs, and mine work with 1 bulb. I know the bulbs are expensive, but there are lots of sellers on ebay who sell them new for insainly cheap. I'm waiting on a bunch of them now.

Thank you, Jen. :D

I've decided not to use the fixture. The tank in question is a 10g(US). It currently has 2 x 10watt mini compact fluorescent bulbs and DIY CO2. I've decided I'm going to add a 15w fluorescent strip with a Lifeglo2 bulb.

Hey cometcattle, how well does your Jebo work? Has it given you any problems, is it loud, does it run hot, ect? I am debating on whether or not to get two of the 36" 192 Watt ballasts. Any reply would be greatly appreciated, and if anyone else has a Jebo who is reading this thread it would be great to hear from them too of course.

There is also a post of this same nature which hasnt yet been answered.
