Jaysea's Biocube 14

Hey guys, this is my first saltwater tank. I'm new to NR and would like to just introduce myself. My brother (FishHeaded) turned me on to reefs. He actually surprised me with a brand new biocube 14!
So here is my setup after the long few nights it took us to set up:
1st Chamber: Filter Floss (Morning Glory) & Digital Coralife Thermometer
2nd Chamber: 50 watt stealth heater
3rd Chamber: Replaced stock pump w/ Maxijet 900
15 lbs of LR (Fiji & Hawaii)
15 lbs of LS

Cycling right now, first test results as follows:
ph 7.8
ammonia 1.0
nitrite 0.25
nitrate 20
salinity 1.024

Do yourself a favor and calibrate/verify that hydrometer often

Thanks have you added any livestock yet? Maxijet 900 working well so far. I'll keep u posted.

Havent added any livestock maybee next week il add some hermits and snails to help with algea.

Hey Guys updating my tank which is now about 2 months old... not too much livestock but enough to where it's fun to look at

My "Hidding Ric" I've tried everything from mesh to the top of a water bottle to get this guy to attach to rubble for better placement... stubborn guy is now going to my brother's tank where he has more room.
