Hey all,
I've just bought some new java moss from my LFS. It was in an aquarium with other fish. I was wondering what's the best way to sterilize a new plant? Also, I use aquarium salt and ich medication. Could that cause problems for the java moss?
Thanks!

I've never sterilized my plants and haven't had any problems either. I'd just wash it off in some water. Salt can be really bad for plants, so be careful with that.

Maybe put them in a aquarisol solution. 12 drops (or 1 tsp) per gallon ..and dip them a few times. That will kill alot of parasites that could be harboring on the plants...I say this, because Aquarisol make a very good net dip (for after you treat sick fish).
