Java moss is brown

I bought brown java moss... I just installed it in my aquarium...I'm confused is it dead or grow back ..plzanyone help me

If you bought it brown, chances are it’s beyond recovery.

Healthy Java is green, so if you purchased it brown then you bought dead Java. If it's green turning brown, then you have insufficient nutrients in your water.
