Java Moss Help (asap Please)

I just picked up a whack of the stuff, and i just dont know how to attach it my wood. I know to tie it with thread... but do i spread it out and tie alot of the string to hold it in place, or do i just anchor it in a few places to keep it from floating away?

Will it actually attach to the wood? I havent had luck with it in the past.

After two or three weeks, it should be attached quite well. My java moss was able to hold up a pretty big rock after two weeks of being in the tank.

I just used plain cotton and spread the moss over the area you want to cover. Just bind it on with the cotton and leave it. The moss will eventually take hold itself.

Thanks. I just wound the thread up and down the wood to keep all the small bits from floating off.
