Java Moss & Flying Fox

I have tied some java moss on a piece of drift wood recently, but I noticed that the 2 flying foxes in my tank are eating the leaves of java moss. This made the moss hard to grow and I have just made a moss wall and presuming the same thing will happen to it. Any idea to stop the fish from attacking the moss? I am trying to feed them more food in thinking of they won't eat the moss when full. Please advise on what to do in solving this problem. Thank you in advance.

If you mean Siamese Algae Eaters (Crossocheilus siamensis) that look similar to Flying Foxes (Epalzeorhynchus kallopterus), they are well known to eat moss. They love it.
