You really want to be glueing (sp) it just above the bottom of the stem, to let the rhizome grow. It will take ages to attatch itself though.

Thats the only problem, I would rather take them back and buy some better specimens.

as i paid £6 for the lot i will be returning them. i went to another lfs today and got a large healthy plant already attached to bogwood for £9.95.... so i gues its worth paying a couple of squid more for an established plant thats less hassle..
