Seen these online in the UK but not on eBay until recently:

Listed under the 'CO2 diffuser' section as 'CO2 Mixer' - around £20 delivered and according to some here and elsehwere they are very good and quality is high.

I saw these about a month ago on a post around here somewhere but couldn't for the life of me remember what they were called/where they were from. I think AE had some at one point too. I've also seen a DIY page for building your own one of these (all in Japanese of course ) and was quite tempted!

Would be interested in how well they work, as I've just got pressurised CO2 working (at last!!) and, as much as I like the diffuser/mist, I'm keen to reduce the maintenance as much as possible (seeing as I broke my second diffuser!)

Anyone got experience of using these?

George Farmer has used them, he posted on the AE forum with mention of them, but so far I don't think he has replied to say how good they are. The eBay ones are ~£13 cheaper than AE given P&P charges. I think they have a good reputation abroad but are pretty much unknown in the UK.

I've just got my Dymax reactor from AE (half price sale!) for £8 inc. P&P - it is said to be external or internal though I've yet to test how well the non-existent seals work! I think I'll be taping them up or using PTFE - or both! Looks like it should work well with a ceramic diffuser inside the reactor and the water-flow spins around the reactor due to the shape of the internal 'slivers'
