Jaguar Cichlids With There New Eggs

Good thread I like it keep the updates rolling

There arent many more impressive looking fish than a big Jag. These look stunning

well done :good:

No i dont have anything over it at all they dont seem to be bothered by it at all.

i would have thought those fry would easily get sucked into your filter. i thought mine would be fine, but i found fry in the filter and felt horrible.

Only the very fitest will survive to be honest and thats all i want to keep.If i have 50 strong jags fry left in a week i ill be happy.I have been checking the filter and yes there were a few but not many to be honest. They are pretty tough to be honest. This will be there last week with the parents.

Excellent news mate, As stated Jags are one of the best looking cichlids, i soooo miss my Brutis, He is handsome and she is hot, great mix and they still look young,,excellent again

I must admit they are one of my favourite fish that i own at present.I dont think they are as bad as people say as long as you provide them a good tank and suitable tank mates :)

Exsactly, except providing a tank suitble with mates is a big tank, did a 5/2/2 and ended in disaster, mate took him in a 350us with arowana's etc still ended bad, some are just brutes. Another forum member had a one of xhantic male jag, he spawned with three seperate females over a period of time, killed all three females after,
