Jacks Rio 125 (to Be Named)

Looking good Jack :good: you're a bugger though lol, got me thinking of turning my 125 into marine n all :( it just seems the only thing to do right now lol...the only thing I dont know is if I can get new lighting to fid the roma hood :(
 this scape will be going another 3 or 4 months then its a reef tank with this one, and a planted on with an old rekord 60.

as for the roma, i would buy two hagen glo starter units (so you would have 4*24 watts of HOt5 and make your own hood
nice picture Jack, a quick, 2 minute edit will give you a better colour.

Thats a shame, hopefully you have learned something from it though. Did you manage to get the latest picture of the tank?
the tank was nuked by the heater and i was so caught up in ripping it apart i forgot :(

what i want to say to aaron and andy and anybody else that helped me, is thank you :thanks: you have all helped me through this, and without your knowledge i would not be here. this tank is now being converted to a full blown reef , just saving for live rock now

thanks everyone, it has been a great experience and learning curve

:thanks:
:good:

Aw Jack, I was looking forward to following this one since we started ours at about the same time. It didn't even have a name yet... :rip:

Good to see you have taken positives from this.

I had a similar situation when I first went pressurised and skimped buying a second hand needle valve.

This failed and came home from work to a urine yellow DC and dead stock!!!

Lesson learnt though and now I buy anything vital brand new.

Good luck with the reef side :)
