I remember when I kept cichlids they were normally only agressive when spawning or when they had young..

haha, I've only just seen this. that is awesome. I love JD's and that tank looks great with them in. he's a feisty bugger though thats for sure!! My Oscar swims off and hides as soon as my hand goes in the tank!!! I'm trying to train him not to be such a wet blanket!!!

I don't think I'd put my hand in there! Apparently the JD's are quite content with how everything is arranged, so I don't think I'd be worried about moving anything!
