I've got my 1st Betta

He's a red crowntail and he is so beautiful!!!!! Can't believe I've been so patient. I bought him yesterday and have called him Tojo. His 6g tank has cycled for 5 weeks and is at a constant temperature of 78 degrees F. Having read the betta basics article at least ten times I hope I've got everything right. Will take some pics and post soon.
Tojo's eated twice already and given me a wonderful display of flaring against the glass. I'm in love Hooked!!!

He sounds really lovely! Well done for being so patient - cycling the tank for 5 WEEKS! It sounds as though you'll be an excellent betta keeper as you also read the pinned article on betta basics loads of times! Congrats!
