I've Got A New Job At A Pet And Aquatic Store

I've just been offered a job at grafty green garden centre working in their pet section. They have rabbits, gerbils, rats, hamsters, parrots, guinea pigs, reptiles, spiders and most importantly fish!! Tropical and pond! I'm so excited Ijusthave to tell people!

Thanks everyone! This one doesn't have a register you have to take the pets out to the man garden centre at pay on the way out so hopefully I'll be ok on that!

You'll enjoy it, the only bad part about working in a pet shop is the cleaning routines get tedious after a while, and a lot of people just won't listen

Congratulations! I'm so jealous I have been trying to get a job at the 3 good LFS near me but they either dont have any vacancies or really dont take me seriously when I tell them I'm willing to leave my current job to do it.

I can see why they would be concerned the closest is a 45 minute drive from where I live and I'm currently a technical manager for a manufacturing and distribution company. If I was in their position I would worry that I'm not that serious about it as well

I REALLY want to work in the aqautics industry (ideally with the general public but wouldn't mind doing something in the background) (any aquatic shops in Kent need new staff? ).
