:D I cleaned + tidied the house top to bottom yesterday cause it was starting to get gross (student house lol). Our housemate has gone home for xmas and wont be back making dirt/mess for a whole month so I figured it was worth doing as it'll stay nice and clean for quite awhile. Plus my little sis may be visiting us for a few days next week so I thought I should probably clean/tidy for her.

Anyhoo, I think the OH was feeling a bit lazy after watching me cleaning all day (It took around 3-4 hours), I even emptied the washing machine of his clothes and hung them up!

So he said he'd take me to wharf (30min drive!) and buy me a/some fish. I've not really got room for more fish if I want to keep the 150l lightly stocked enough that the cichlids can feel comfortable enough to breed.

I know I'm getting a female N. transvestitus, I lost my young female recently due to gill flukes. I bought medication when I got her but the seller (ebay) just didn't send it and so by the time she got treatment it was too late cause she was so small.

Don't know what else though, if anything. I sorta miss having gouramis and am very very tempted by a male female pair of honeys for the 60l. However that'd only be if I'm going to rehome the thomasi and maybe the rotpunkt... which I might.

Did you go already?

Hope you got something nice if you did :)

Haha, funnily enough I would be the guy offering a lift in that situation!

My room is a complete mess though I keep everything else which my other flat mates use I keep tidy around the house. It's not student accommodation so it is designed to be lived in for a long time and well the way my flat meets leave the flat I don't think it's possible without getting diseases!

I always get asked for lifts to places and it's just becoming annoying, they don't do anything for them but if they were to clean... you've given me an idea! -_-

lol, yes I have been. Came home with a pair of n. transvestitus females to go with my male. They form pair bonds but I wanted to give him a choice between two just incase. Well he seemd to pair with one instantly and is now busy making caves with her. They have 6 on the go in total. Woop! Good signs to say the ph of the water here is 7.6. I'm hoping they'll spawn, I want to see what the success rates of the fry hatching/growing. Hopefully they'll be high enough, if not I'm tempted to invest in a DI resin chamber.

Right now I'm working on a website as part of the OH's christmas present... www.nutterzuk.com/christmas/index.asp if you're interested. Any critisim welcome, it's still in designing stage so is still often changing.
