Freeze dried foods can cause bloating if you feed to many.
I won't buy freeze dried foods anymore as they would make my fish bloat up.
I would feed some peas.

ooooh freeze dried!! i give mine frozen or i give them earthworms.

Either it's a Bluegill or a Green Sunfish. Those guys are great as pets, but I don't think the Green sunfish would be a good idea to have with other cichlids. As far as the gut goes it just looks like it has been eating well.

also i feed my jewels and blue cichlids bloodworms all the time!

you just cant overfeed them. i think it can cause hole in the head.

Yeah Bluegills are good pets, I used to have one before and it would jump for a worm. I think Bluegills could get along with any cichlid actually, the fish can either be super or agressive or mildy agressive.

lol all i know is that my koi beats them up!! last time i had 1 in my koi pond it diddnt survive! is it realy that aggressive?

lol i had a beautiful butterfly scaleless koi!! beat the sh*t out of them!!
